Minnie Elizabeth Rowland was born Apr. 22, 1872 in Gratiot Co.,—died Aug. 15, 1952. At the age of four years, she moved with her parents to Cedar Lake, Mich., where with them she embraced the Seventh-day Adventist faith, remaining faithful until her death. On June 20, 1893, she was united in marriage with Wilfred Chamberlin of Armada, Mich. Two daughters, Mrs. Vera Todd and Mrs. Erma Parcell preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Jack E. Wood of Honolulu, Hawaii; one sister, Mrs. E. R. Lauda of Loveland Colo., eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, three nieces and four nephews.
