Thank you for visiting the Gratiot County Historical & Genealogical Society website!

The society was established in 1978 with the following goals:

To gather and preserve information of historical and genealogical value; to encourage the deposit of such information in our Museum and Library; to aid genealogists in the study of county and family history through the exchange of knowledge; to publish and promote information pertaining to Gratiot County.

The Gratiot County Genealogical Library

Donations of pictures, genealogy research of Gratiot families, personal memories, diaries, etc. are always welcome.
