Died March 4, 1887, near Lincoln, Lincoln Co., Kan., of measles and inflammation of the lungs, our dear son, Charles L. Stratton, aged 13 years, 11 months, and 6 days. Just three weeks before his death we moved from Sumner, Gratiot Co., Mich., where he was a member of the Sabbath-school. He was very patient during his sickness, and just before he died he said all was well; and we feel perfectly assured that he will rise again in the first resurrection, when , the Life-giver shall come to make up his jewels. Words of comfort were spoken by Eld. Ward, of Lincoln, Kan.
