If you know who these girls are, please contact us at the genealogy library at 989 875-6232. Leave a message or call on our open days of Tuesdays & Saturdays from 1pm – 5pm.

The society was established in 1978 with the following goals

To gather and preserve information of historical and genealogical value;

  • to encourage the deposit of such information in our Museum and Library;
  • to aid genealogists in the study of county and family history through the exchange of knowledge;
  • to publish and promote information pertaining to Gratiot County.

Donations of pictures, genealogy research of Gratiot families, personal memories, diaries, etc. are always welcome!

If you would be interested in volunteering at the library, please contact us.  We need lots of help in assisting researchers, indexing and processing new acquisitions.
